college compass success story: calli

Calli attended Castleton University, benefiting from College Compass support in many ways. Mentors assisted Calli with social support as well as being available to assist with talking through academic assignments.

With a passion for horsemanship and a goal to pursue further education in equine business management, a mentor accompanied her to a local club to ride together as well as learn about continuing her education.

After three semesters of support, Calli felt confident to move forward without it and she was admitted to the program she dreamed of and worked to attend!

Peer mentors would support me with my homework, and understanding it. Also they helped me meet new people and ride horses together and that was really great.
