Marybeth Burtt is a clinical professional with over 20 years of experience working with special needs children and their families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, and is a certified Mindfulness/Meditation teacher. Marybeth has designed and taught academic and therapeutic programs in diverse settings.
As a parent of an adult son with autism, she has personal experience with the systems and issues families face raising special needs children. This inspired her to apply her background in Psychology to pioneering positive models for community programming. Her central project over the past several years included the design and piloting of a strength-based assessment profile and curriculum to help students fulfill their true potential. She has most recently worked as Clinical Director to launch a groundbreaking career path program for young adults on the autism spectrum utilizing this model.
