Meet Wynter Early, our October 2018 "Mentor of the Month." Wynter is a second-year college student at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) - Loudoun Campus. During her time at NOVA she is focusing on general studies and plans to pursue a career in linguistics.
Wynter has served as a mentor for College Steps students since August of 2018.
Whether its filling out peer mentor journals or looking for better ways to help fellow students achieve their goals, Wynter is always willing to go the extra mile.
"She often asks if there is more she can do, at times even after her shift has ended," said Tommy Murphy, her College Steps supervisor. "She genuinely cares about others and it shows."
