Meet Ignacio Magyar, our March 2019 "Mentor of the Month." Ignacio is a second year college student at Northern Virginia Community College -Loudoun Campus. During his time at NOVA he is focusing on a major in music/minor in recording technology and plans to pursue a career in the music business.
Ignacio has served as a mentor for College Steps students since August of 2018.
Whether it’s adapting well to different academic sessions and offering helpful insights, or covering a shift for additional support, Ignacio is always willing to make a difference in the lives of College Steps students.
"He is truly a compassionate and reliable mentor," said Tommy Murphy, his College Steps supervisor. "Ignacio comes to work with a smile and has a gift for connecting with others. I’ve seen how he has brought a community element into our students’ lives."
