Meet Jordan Crigger, our March 2022 “Mentor of the Month.” Jordan has been a College Steps Peer Mentor at NOVA Loudoun since January of 2021. She completed her associates in science at NOVA and is currently studying nursing at James Madison. Jordan shows up to work each day with an awesome attitude that is inspiring to her students, and she goes above and beyond in encouraging them and helping them to grasp new concepts and strategies for success. She is a true leader and outstanding example to her fellow peer mentors. This is Jordan’s second semester in the role of NOVA Loudoun’s Lead Mentor. In this role, she has been an amazing support for students and mentors in sessions, offering wonderful guidance with kindness and a smile. Tommy Murphy, Program Coordinator at Loudoun, says, “Jordan is so positive and great at connecting with students and helping them feel comfortable and confident. Her students love working with her and she is a true asset to our team. I am so proud of her!”
