Meet Rawniesha, our September 2022 “Mentor of the Month.” Rawniesha is a double major in Psychology and Human Services/Criminal Justice at NVU Lyndon and has been a peer mentor since 2019. She works many hours as a mentor and is always willing to pick up extra shifts or help out other mentors or students who may need it. Rawniesha is a social justice advocate and encourages all our students to advocate for themselves. She is kind and compassionate, and students learn very quickly that they can rely on her to help them gain independence in ways that are uniquely meaningful. Rawniesha also has a great sense of humor and is fun to be around.
