Meet Nora Young, our April “Mentor of the Month.” Nora is a senior criminal justice and psychology major at AIC. Nora shows up for every shift she has at 100%, with student-centered support at the heart of her mentoring. She is reliable, flexible, caring, and creative. She has mastered the art of mentorship, connecting with students and forming a mentor/mentee relationship that goes beyond a goal in a scheduled shift. Not only does Nora work for College Steps during the academic year, but she is also completing an internship with the Hampden Juvenile Courts and Probation Department this spring, while also in season with the AIC Women's Basketball team. She is a consistent member of the AIC Dean's List, and was newly inducted into Psi Chi, the International Honors Society of Psychology, this past December. All students who work with Nora at AIC are lucky to have her support.
